Naracoorte Holiday Park is a spacious park with lots of grassy areas; ideal for a relaxing stroll or playing games. Wide, bitumen roads prove enticing to children for bicycle riding, as does the walking track that abuts the park, following the pretty Naracoorte Creek.
The local swimming facility is free to swimmers and is open from December to March every year. It is a huge pool, fully chlorinated and holds about 9 million litres of water! With its shallow walk-in entry, it is ideal for all ages including small children.
The games room is a large area including; TV, table tennis, pool table and video games and is popular for get-togethers with groups staying in the park (for example caravan rallies or family groups). Mini golf is appealing to all ages, and is available daily until dark; why not challenge your family and friends? A small playground is available on site, and others are nearby including an adventure playground. Unique Tiny Train rides are available on non-school days and appeal to young children.
Naracoorte Holiday Park incorporates the Tiny Train Park, which offers miniature train rides for children, plus 18 hole mini golf. It is possibly, the only holiday park in Australia that has on-site train rides. The miniature engine carries passengers on a 700m journey around the layout, adjacent to the Naracoorte Creek and the mini golf course, over an ornamental pond, and runs on a 5" track. Tiny train rides are available school and public holidays, and weekends 9am to 5pm, weather permitting (other times by appointment).
