Located in the heart of the Limestone Coast, Naracoorte is home to the famous World Heritage Listed Fossil Site, Bool Lagoon and wetlands, museums, galleries, playgrounds and parks, a unique swimming lake and variety of shops and accommodation properties.
Many caves and sinkholes surround Naracoorte, including the incredible World Heritage Listed Naracoorte Caves Fossil Site. Inscribed in the World Heritage List in 1994 for its rich deposits of fossil mammals, it is the only natural World Heritage Site in South Australia.

Simber Pictures Gallery and Tea Rooms Simber Pictures gallery and tea rooms are situated on the north eastern edge of Naracoorte. The setting is at the foot of a large hill named Mount MacIntosh. The gallery has a large number of photographs, most taken within a 150 kilometre radius of Naracoorte and are made up of coastal and country scenes - waterfalls, birds, animals, sunsets and sunrises, old buildings, plus more. We also have a unique range of gift lines, postcards and locally hand-made bees wax and palm wax candles.

Yulgilbar Wood Gallery Yulgilbar Wood Gallery is situated 10 minutes south of the township of Naracoorte, in South Australia's south-eastern region. The south-east is known for its limestone caves, superb wetlands, birdlife and world class wineries. David and Sandra Williamson set up their gallery in 1990, directly opposite the exit road from the famous World Heritage listed Naracoorte Caves (listed for the rich fossil deposits).

Bool Lagoon Game Reserve and Hacks Lagoon Conservation Park Located between Adelaide and Melbourne, and just 21 kilometres south of Naracoorte, is the amazing Bool Lagoon Game Reserve, one of the largest and most diverse freshwater systems in Southern Australia. The reserve is home to a wide range of wetland wildlife and provides essential drought refuge for many rare and endangered bird species. It offers ideal close observation of the many wildlife with its specially developed boardwalks and bird hides.

Naracoorte Nature Park and Swimming Lake Naracoorte Nature Park, an important area of remnant native vegetation, was opened by renowned naturalist Harry Butler in 1986.

Tiny Train Park Visit the Tiny Train Park and Mini Golf for a fun outing with family, a group of friends, your club or your social group. The park is the ideal venue for birthday parties, Christmas break ups and family get- togethers. Smaller guests can enjoy a tiny train ride around the scenic pond and over the bridge while visitors of all ages can enjoy a round of mini golf. Mini golf is available daily. Train rides are available on non-school days only, weather permitting.
